Exercise
When you are having a panic attack, your body produces ‘adrenaline’. To help your body relax and rid yourself of that feeling associated with panic, you need to clean the adrenaline out of your system.
Physical exercise is one way to get rid of that adrenaline. When your body gets moving during exercise, it will actually begin to burn up the adrenaline and cortisol in your body. It will also begin to produce good chemicals into your body like endorphins and endocannabinoids, both of which are feel good chemicals. When runners speak of the so called “runners high” they are referring to effects of those chemicals flowing through their bodies.
So get some exercise! Get the heart pumping and the blood flowing! (maybe I should take my own advice?)
